At Mendham Country Day School all students are involved in fine
arts, music (both instrumental and vocal), physical education and foreign language.
Fine Arts: Each level is introduced to new concepts, techniques, and styles
of fine art. Weekly classes, as well as field trips to museums and galleries help enhance this program.
Music/Drama: All students age three and up are involved in the music program.
A spring concert is held every year. The concert includes not only vocal but instrumental parts. Private as well as
group instrumental lessons are offered to all students in Early Kindergarten and up. Two plays are preformed each year,
a winter drama and a spring musical.
Physical Education: Physical education is a part of every student's life
at MCD. Students in Early Kindergarten and up are involved in weekly physical education classes. Our yearly indoor soccer
tournament is held in the spring. Students in grades 1-6 are involved in swimming lessons. Grades 2-6 are involved in various
sports teams, including soccer, basketball, track, and more.
Foreign Language: All students from Early Kindergarten are involved in
the foreign language program. Students learn language and culture from, a native speaker.
